Tax Simulation

Taxes from the olden days are way different from the taxes we have. My teacher, Mrs. McFall, put together a little thing today in class. She handed out some cups with mints in them. There was a King and two tax collectors. The King would say something like, “If you have a sister pay two mints” or “If you have blonde hair pay 3 mints.” I learned that their tax payments were very different from ours. People couldn’t help if they had blonde hair or if they had a sister. The taxes from back then were very very different from the taxes we have today.

My Memory of 2014

I will never forget the time I went to the World Series in Branson,Missouri. When we were in a game I felt like I was a Professional Softball Player. When we were in Missouri, my family and I went to a Titanic Museum. There was a wall of ice in there, so you could see how cold the iceberg was when the Titanic sank. There also was a room that was very cold and that was how cold it was outside. There also was a bucket of water and that was how cold the water was. We also went to this place called “Ripley’s Believe it or Not”. It shows world records and science things. We also went to a Wax Museum. It had wax statues of famous people like Tom Hanks and Marilyn Monroe. Something I look forward to in 2015 is that i will get to go to the World Series again someday.

Happy Mother’s Day

My mom has taught how to play softball.

She’s been teaching me since I was four.

She has made me very sucessful, and she is my biggest fan.

She works with me everyday outside to pitch.

I look up to my mom because she used to play softball, and she was an awesome softball player in high school.

I am very lucky to have a mom like her.

My mom is the best softball mom in the world.

ROW Your Site

The king cobra is the biggest out of all th poisonous snakes.
The female king cobra will lay 20 to 40 eggs.
Before the eggs hatch, she will leave because she would eat her babies.
There aren’t that many king cobras because people are afraid of it and kill it.

Erosion

At the White Oak ISD Nature Center, Mr. Mac showed us erosion. Erosion means when it takes up rocks and it leaves a big hole or ditch. Also my picture is an erosion. That’s one of the things I saw at the nature center.
